Working It
Now that summer’s here, it's time to get out and work out. Here at the Original Breath Builder, we’re very passionate about the positive emotional and physical benefits of exercise, as well as the importance of athleticism in our society. On our blog you can find a variety of posts relating to forms of exercise, such as football, basketball, and hiking in nature. But today, we wanted to talk about exercising in all the forms that it can appear, as well as the benefits that you can start taking advantage of now.
Exercise exists in many different forms, from simple practices to intensive routines. For example, one of the biggest fitness trends in the last few years is walking. Which has motivated countless people to start counting their steps with Fitbits and Apple Watches. It’s safe to say that someone in your life has one of these devices to do this. On the other half, you can find thousands of videos on instagram glamorizing hardcore gym culture. Where a whole flock of gym fanatics have gotten together to archive and share their progress in their carefully-crafted workout plan. Whatever kind of fitness experience you are looking for, it's sure to be out there. Making now easier than ever to start working out in the way that’s right for you.
To help you with your fitness journey, we wanted to share a few tips that you can use to maximize your exercises. Sometimes, working out can be a little intimidating. You might not know what’s best for you if you’re new to exercising, or you may need help visualizing your ultimate end goal. As with any part of your health, it is important to talk with your medical provider before making any big changes with your routine. But right now, you can read up on a few things that are sure to help.
Maintain proper breathing
Of course we are going to start with this tip. Promoting proper breathing is the core goal of our business with our range of products. And it can help a ton when you work out. When we move around intensively like we do when we exercise, we need to replenish oxygen for our muscles. So, when you work out, you need to be conscientious of how much you are breathing and when you take your breaths. Each exercise has a certain different way to do proper breathing, so we recommend that you research what to do for which exercise you plan on performing.
Find a buddy
Like any activity, exercise is way more fun when you have someone to do it with. Together, you and a friend can work towards the same goal and keep each other motivated. Not only is it fun, but it also makes working out safer. Your exercise buddy can help spot you with difficult exercises like the bench press, watch out for exhaustion by reminding you to keep hydrated, and advise you on what you should or should not do. With a workout buddy, nothing can go wrong!
Do what you like
Again, it is important to remember that exercising is for you. You have to be conscientious of your end goal, as that is what you should ultimately be achieving from your workouts. Push yourself as much as you need to, even if it's not as much as you think it should be. Exercising is a process. It may take a while to reach your goals if you take the necessary amount of time. Don’t feel discouraged. If you stick to the routine you like, exercising will surely be fulfilling for you!
Wherever you are on your fitness journey, we hope these tips provide some assistance. Working out is a healthy and productive activity for everyone. Make sure to find some time this summer to plan out some exercises, get a workout buddy, and workout to the fullest.
